Hymenoplasty (Hymen Repair, Hymenorraphy, Hymen Restoration, Hymen Tightening) is a surgical procedure intended to repair a torn or broken hymen. Many women undergo hymenoplasty to restore their virginity.
The most common technique consists in stitching the hymen from the torn edges and closing it. The surgery in performed on 2 layers in order to reconstruct firmly and durably the hymen.
